Disclosure & Invoicing

• We generally do not require a deposit before the funeral takes place unless the client (person arranging the funeral) is not a resident of Northern Ireland and is based overseas in which case we require full payment in advance. We do however reserve the right to ask for full payment in advance before providing any of our services.
• We may at our discretion ask that all disbursements be paid directly by the client to third parties.
• All repatriation costs have to be paid in advance of the repatriation taking place.
• The final funeral account will normally be sent within 14 days after the funeral date and will be due for payment within thirty days of the invoice date, unless agreed by us in writing.
• If you fail to pay us in full on the due date and do not notify us in advance, we may charge you interest:
  • At a rate of 8% above Bank of England’s base rate.
  • All costs associated with our lawful pursuance of the debt.
  • All legal costs incurred.
  • We may recover the cost of taking legal action.

We are a compassionate company and will consider your circumstances if you are unable to settle the account in full. We have payment plans available. To avail of this, and avoid demand-for-payment letters and potential interest charges, please write to our Accounts Office at 20 Dromore Rd, Ballynahinch, BT24 8HP requesting for an extension of payment or to set up a payment plan.

Always inform the accounts office of any potential delays.
